Bible Q-n-A 192: Willful Ignorance

Willful ignorance is when someone knows that what they’re saying isn’t correct but they refuse to admit it. They fain a lack of comprehension when they actually know all along that their position isn’t consistent with the fact. It also occurs when someone simply refuses to acknowledge the fact, or even acknowledge the existence of any facts disproving their position.
