What If You Were Getting Paid?

Ask any preacher that has been around for very long at all and he’ll tell you the response from someone when he asks, “why don’t you do like I do?” Why aren’t members in general in attendance at every Bible class and every worship service? Why are they not more involved in the programs of the church? Why are they not more involved with visiting each other outside of services? The preacher does all those things. “Yea, but,” they will respond, “that’s what the preacher gets paid to do.” Really? Well, what if you were getting paid? How much different would your service to God be if you were getting paid to do it? That’s the question of this lesson. As always, your feedback is welcome.
