Do you have an ear to hear?
- This statement is recorded 12 times in the New Testament, all from Jesus.
- Matt. 11:5; 13:9; Mark 4:9, 23; Luke 8:8; Rev. 2:7, 11, 17, 29; 3:6, 13, 22.
- Having an ear to hear means receiving and acting upon the word of God.

Do you have a dull ear?
- Having a dull ear is the refusal to do God’s will according to His word.
- Jer. 6:10; Ezek. 12:2; Acts 7:51-53; 2 Tim. 4:4.
The condition of your ear is the condition of your soul!
- Why is it that some “cannot” hear? It is because they have made their life so contrary to the will of God that they cannot accept His word and continue in their sinful lifestyle.
